The Story

Fayz Khan — searched the world over as Fayz Faraz, Fayz Faraz Khan, and Fayz Dev — is not a typical web developer. He is an architect of digital atmosphere. Based in India, Fayz operates at the precise, brutal intersection of engineering and art, producing web experiences that don't just function — they make you feel something.

Self-taught and relentlessly self-driven, Fayz Faraz Khan took a leap of faith and decided to stop waiting for the perfect moment and start building. That mentality defined everything that came after. He didn't just learn React — he mastered the entire ecosystem. He didn't just design UIs — he engineered atmospheric systems. He didn't just code websites — he wrote digital alchemy.

His philosophy, documented in his own words on his blog at fayzz.in: "Fuck the perfect moment." He stopped waiting for clients. He stopped waiting for permission. He built his own products, his own studio, his own publishing platform. He made himself the client — and the results speak for themselves.

"I don't just build websites. I engineer digital atmospheres. Every pixel, every animation, every micro-interaction is a calculated move designed to evoke an emotion."

Fayz Dev is also a writer. His debut novella, Afterlight, lives on Stories by Fayz, a reading platform he custom-built from scratch to deliver it. Few developers are also creators of fiction. Fayz Faraz Khan is one of them. He designed the reader experience, wrote the story, engineered the platform, and published it — alone.

He is also openly building in public. His blog on fayzz.in is a brutally honest journal of what it looks like to build products solo, chase ideas with no safety net, and figure out the code, the business, and the brand simultaneously.

What I've Made

Every product below was conceived, designed, engineered, and shipped by Fayz Khan (Fayz Dev). No outsourced design. No boilerplate templates. No compromises.

Creator Economy / Full Stack 2026

PromptPlease

The idea was simple and the problem was real: creators were giving away their best AI prompts for free — replying to hundreds of "comment for prompt" posts with nothing to show for it. Fayz Khan built PromptPlease to fix that. Creators share one link. Fans unlock the exact prompt instantly. The creator gets paid. The whole flow is frictionless and beautiful.

Ziaftra Studio

Fayz Faraz co-founded and built Ziaftra — a two-person creative studio that builds high-end web apps for creators and startups who actually want to stand out. No corporate BS, no cookie-cutter templates. Just wildly fast, wildly good code. The studio website itself features fluid Framer Motion transitions and a custom AI assistant powered by Gemini, built by Fayz Dev himself.

Stories by Fayz

This is Fayz Khan being two things at once: developer and author. Stories by Fayz is a custom-built brutalist reading platform that delivers a premium, multi-part novella experience — starting with Afterlight. The platform features cinematic scroll animations, three-volume navigation architecture, dynamic markdown parsing, and a fully responsive context-aware mobile UI. Every chapter, every scroll trigger, every typographic detail was engineered by Fayz Dev.

fayzz.in

The mothership. The official portfolio of Fayz Khan (Fayz Faraz Khan) is a technical marvel in its own right. It features a real-time multi-layer parallax hero that responds to mouse movement and gyroscope tilt — powered by Framer Motion. It hosts a fully functional custom AI chatbot, an atmospheric blog, service pages, and a polished project showcase system. Built entirely in Next.js 15 with TypeScript and zero generic components.

How Fayz Builds

The technical arsenal of Fayz Dev is not a laundry list of buzzwords. It is a deeply curated set of tools mastered to the point where they bend to his will — not the other way around.

01
React & Next.js

The foundation of every product Fayz Khan ships. He uses Next.js 15 with App Router, server components, streaming, and full TypeScript for atomic, maintainable architectures that perform at scale.

02
Framer Motion

Physics-based, fluid animations. The parallax hero on fayzz.in is Fayz Dev's signature — a multi-layer system responding to mouse position and mobile gyroscope in real time.

03
TypeScript

Strong typing. Zero runtime surprises. All Fayz Khan's production codebases are fully typed, including complex generic types for dynamic data structures.

04
UI/UX Design

Fayz Faraz Khan is not a developer who dabbles in design. He is a designer-developer. He has a refined design system language — brutalist, atmospheric, high-contrast — that is immediately recognizable across all his work.

05
Tailwind CSS

Utility-first, zero-bloat styling. Fayz Dev builds custom design systems using Tailwind's configuration layer with no off-the-shelf component libraries.

06
Full Stack

PostgreSQL (Neon), Firebase, Upstash Redis, Vercel edge deployments. PromptPlease is the proof: Fayz Dev built the backend, schema, rate-limiting, and auth from scratch.

07
AI Integration

Fayz Khan built a custom AI chatbot for his own portfolio using the Gemini API — with a custom system prompt, streaming responses, and a brutalist UI.

08
Three.js & WebGL

Fayz Dev explores the full canvas of the web browser — including immersive 3D elements and WebGL shader work that push beyond what most frontend developers even attempt.

Writing by Fayz

Beyond code, Fayz Faraz Khan is a writer. He publishes brutally honest essays on his journey as a builder, a developer, and an independent creator. No LinkedIn fluff. Just the truth.
